USPCAS-AFS inaugurates Community Outreach Center at Chak No. 189-RB Rasoolpur, Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad

Chair Outreach U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Agriculture and Food Security (USPCAS-AFS), University of Agriculture Faisalabad inaugurated community Outreach center at Chak # 189 RB Rasoolpur, Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad. Rana Azam khan chairman Union Council 189RB with other dignitaries inaugurated the center. It is worth mentioning that USPCAS-AFS has opened Six- Community Centers in each tehsils of Faisalabad district and Okara. Purpose of opening these centers is to provide access to the farming community through ICT tools so that they could seek guidance regarding there farming problems. Mian Liaquat Ali, Muhammad Yaseen, Muhammad Shoaib Yousaf, Haji Qazi Abdul Razzaq and Haji Muhammad Saleem local Farmers and University Experts Dr. Izhar Ahmad Khan, Dr. Saeed Ahmad, Dr. Babar Shahbaz, Dr. Sardar Alam. Dr. Shahid ibn e Zameer, Dr. Atif Randhawa and Dr. Qamar Bilal spoke on the occasion. Chairman UC rana Azam Khan lauded the efforts of USAID for opening Community Outreach Center for the betterment of local farming community. He urged the need for opening such centers at UC level so that local farmers can be benefited through information technological tools.
