In my earlier research work at NIBGE, I have worked on insect-virus and host interaction. I have worked on the diversity of whiteflies and characterization of Cotton Leaf curl virus. My expertise includes insect molecular biology, genetic engineering, genome editing, bioinformatics, and genome analysis. Currently I am working as a postdoctoral fellow in transformation lab, National Center for Genome Editing (NCGE), CAS-AFS with the objective of optimization of tissue culture technique in different plants particularly Banana and Date palm.
