The Tree Pathology Laboratory is committed to fostering sustainable agriculture by identifying genetic resistance against plant diseases and factors driving their development. Through bioinformatics and comparative genomics of pathogens, our research delves into host-pathogen interactions via transcriptomics to uncover resistance sources. Additionally, we emphasize plant disease diagnosis and are actively involved in establishing the foundations of a national plant diagnostic network. Our data acquisition efforts support the development of disease forecasting models, aiming to enhance proactive management and resilience in vital crops, fruits, vegetables, and trees.
